Research Analysts: Full-time research analyst positions are available in our Cheyenne, Wyoming and Smithfield, Rhode Island offices. Research analysts work with principal investigators on all aspects of the research process, such as: proposal conceptualization and writing, study design and protocol preparation, overseeing data collection, data analysis, report writing, conducting evaluations, and providing technical assistance to clients.
The strongest candidates for this position will have a doctoral degree in health services research, psychology, public health, or a related field. The ability to work collaboratively with principal investigators and other researchers, particularly on methodological decisions, is also highly important.
SAS Data Managers/Programmers: Full-time SAS Data Managers/Programmers for either of our Cheyenne, WY or Smithfield, RI offices are sought. The SAS Data Manager/Programmers will develop SAS code to prepare and manage data. This is a challenging position that requires data management experience, particularly with automating procedures and developing SAS Macros. Specific responsibilites include: preparing data files from secondary data, consolidating data across different surveys and other data sources, and programming complex routines to clean and code data. Please note this is not a statistical analyst or statistician's position.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in social sciences or in a quantitative discipline; at least five years experience with SAS, specifically performing complex data manipulation; expertise with data management and data cleaning; and experience with a wide variety or procedures and applications of SAS, in particular SAS data steps, SAS Macros, and ODS.
Research Assistant: Full-time research assistant positions are avialable in our Cheyenne, Wyoming and Smithfield, Rhode Island offices. This is a great position for recent graduates seeking to gain experience conducting research. Responsibilities include assisting interviewing subjects, conducting literature searches, maintaining a library of research materials, assisting with data management, and contributing to reports and presentations.
